About the Course

This five-part professional development course will help higher ed-based humanities practitioners learn how to document the impact of their work. Individual workshops will introduce the basics of documenting the impact of the humanities; dig into research methodologies; consider impact as it relates to specific types of humanities work; and help you learn how to analyze and leverage the data you collect. Each workshop will also provide time for you to connect with other attendees and learn about each other’s work.

Virtual one-hour workshops will run throughout the 2023–2024 academic year. Attendees who complete the five workshops in the series will receive a certificate of completion from the National Humanities Alliance for their records.

Note: the period to register for the full course ended on October 13, 2023, when we completed the first workshop in the series. We welcome you to register for individual workshops throughout the rest of the academic year.
